Date is 19th, 20th & 21st October, 2012 

Itinerary : Friday – arrival and evening meal at the Lamington Hotel for the early birds. Saturday – Torbanlea Picnic Races.  (Advertised as, the best family day out by a country mile).   Experience the unique atmosphere of a Bush Picnic Race Day, Amateur Jockeys Bush Race, Mini Trotters, Trackside Stalls, Amusements, Live Entertainment, plus Novelty Events…Elston Partners Annual Celebrity Challenge – this event remains a mystery until Race Day, Team Tug-O-War, Chainsaw Exhibition Racing, Woodchopping and Foot Races for children.

Frangipani Fashion of the Field attracts more than 150 entries to share in almost $2000 in prizes on the day. Entry – $10 but has not been confirmed.

I have tentatively booked a bus so will need to know firm numbers by 17 Oct so I can advise them on 17 Oct.  They are going out of their way to pick us up from the Lamington Hotel (I have told them you will be attending with your Studes.  Cost for bus which includes the entry to races will be approx $30-$35.  I will know the actual cost by October when the entry cost has been confirmed.  The bus pick up will be 9.00am and returns after the last race getting into Maryborough at 5.30pm. I will arrange for the Saturday evening meal and entertainment and Sunday breakfast – cost approx $15/head.  Will advise more when at hand.
